Spørsmål
I am currently feeling so worried and guilty all the time. I don't know what I am doing. I just procrastinate everything and come to same state where I have to start everything from beginning. I still have a lot of things to do, but, I couldn't do any of those. I'm having self-harming thoughts and feel so pressurized. I feel like I'm going to be a failure. I honestly don't know who I can talk to, about all these. I can't even afford a therapy. It's very frustrating and I am feeling like my head is gonna burst.

First and foremost it is good that you speak out about the worries you are having. I will here give some feedback to your questions and also share information about some possible places where you can get someone to talk to free of charge. I would really recommend to search someone to talk to, as it can be helpful to sort the thoughts with someone and not only by oneself.
Talking to a friend, neighbor or fellow student can be a starting point, even if you might think you already tried to reach out to people around you. When someone is in a difficult situation, people around might not have the solution, but they can maybe listen and help you to sort out which step to take first.
To be full of pressure for different reasons can happen to all of us at different times in life. It is normal, but it is good and important to take it seriously and seek help. When it comes to self harming thoughts, I can fully understand that heavy pressure can lead to such thoughts, but at the moment please look for self caring solutions. Even if it is so that you cannot afford therapy sessions, there are relevant offers by the student welfare organizations that does not involve payment. I will here list relevant links for how to reach out to both the student welfare organizations, help lines and emergency numbers:
- The student welfare organizations offers are listed here, so search your organization based on which city you are studying in: www.studenterspor.no/om-oss/#studentsamskipnader
- Help line Mental Health in Norway, is a help line you can call at any time of the day or night:
Hjelpetelefonen - Mental Helse - Here is information from the Norwegian government concerning different phone numbers and services that might be useful:
Help if you are struggling with mental health - Norway - Helsenorge
Last but not least I would like to say that in a pressured situation it is important to be kind to oneself, and not try to sort it all at once. One step at a time, and I believe you will find more stability in your situation.
Wish you good luck – and do not hesitate to speak to people in your student city.
Vennlig hilsen/Best regards
